im guessing you would need quite a few people to get the price down to a reasonable level

i love the look of carbon fibre but not sure if a whole dash would be too much

dont think you would need that many, depends what you think a reasonable amount is,it would be better than looking at a dash full of cracks and having to cover the dash ever time the sun is out (well thats not very often then) seen a 3 door cossy done and looked real nice at castle combe

from what i saw them carbon sierra ones did not sell like hot cakes
on ebay, and i would love to see what they are like with the sun shining
off one right into your minces when driving ,they do look good though

what you need is grey flocked or somthin, now that would be differant

flocked dashes are used in motorsport because you
dont get screen glare

the guy i spoke to on the phone said it was about £800 for a one off, but if more people interested the price would come as we could all share the price

I'd have thought you'd be limited by most owners wanting to keep a S1 dash original?

i think you can get the flocking done in most colours

who have you spoke to about doing them then? (pm if you like) i have been seeking bits for a while, found quite a few very good carbon chaps

i have seen the 3dr dash (thinkit was ford fair on display) the quality is outstanding and i know it takes a hell of alot of man hours to do a single dash, hence the price

hence why im lookin at standard dash flocked when im happy with it

what about mk 3 carbon bonnets ??

anyone know where i may get 1 ??

you could do a matt finish on the dash with just the resin but it wouldn't look anywhere near as good, in fact it would probably look shit and tacky

That's a base model plastic dash. Can they flock the high spec vinyl covered ones?
