s2 gearboxes
hello just brought a grey s2 so im going to be on here more often i think,anyway where can i get a new or recon gearbox? as i think mines staring to go(its hard to find and get into the gears)or could it just be the links?

When you eventually get it into gear, does it make any excess noise? If it's just the gear engaging that is the problem, then it's most likely the linkage.

if u want a decent box which can handle more than 180 bhp (the std box's limit) see bernie at www.gearboxman.co.uk there top notch and loads of peeps on here recomend em

check the gear linkage knuckle, either tighten it up or buy a new linkage from ford for about £30. If not ur box or clutch is fooked! 
best of taking it out first to check the wear on the clutch before buying a box, or alternatively it could be the clutch ratchet not engaging right!
