i forgot about this post

youve obviously got the standard front antiroll bar up fron but do you notice a big differance cliff especially with 17''s on her??

the rear set up does look very tasty & i did think about it but a bit too expensive at the moment but most probably in the future tho

cheers for the replys

I have 17" Comp Mo's on there now and it still handles like a dream

You're right Gus I do need to get the rusty old front bit sorted out.

Those pics were taken before the clamps were refitted as they had to be made larger to fit over the front tension struts

It handles like a dream. Yes it is a bit bumpy sometimes but it makes such a difference to the feel of the drive.

It massively helps the launches at getting the times down

Never driven it without the clamps Gus. The whole car handles like a dream

Cliff/Dave?whatever you want to be called!!

What springs and damper rates are you running if you don't mind me asking?

I'm on near identical spec to yours and I'm not quite happy with it despite having it set up at Adreneline (made a massive difference).

Nick name is Cliff. Real name is Dave.

I have Avo front coilovers on the front and the MEF Coilovers on the back.

No idea on what the rates are set at. It was done by Field Motorsport at the corner weighting session.

Isn't it amazing that you can actually make an rs turbo handle well

Ah. Ok mate. Cheers for the reply. It's getting better every time I do things to it. Just fancy trying stiffer springs and softer dampers. trying to reduce body roll in longer bends and make it follow bumps in the road instead of skipping all over the road.

I really haven't had time to use mine properly at all as I am posted in germany and my car lives in England. Keep doing new stuff to the car and never get any proper testing time.

Can you give me some driving lessons

Struggle to drive it properly round here!! Either too much traffic or the roads are fucked and it tried to throw you into a field!!

Best time is about midnight!!

Plus you start going round bends on the wrong side of the road at silly speeds and it gets a bit dangerous!

I only drive mine at most for 2 hours a week!

I've bought some of those front tension struts as mine are rusted together I never ever realised about the clamps

Gus have you had your clamps done yet?

And just for Dave...... (but still with the original arms)
