normal to get a boost drop, especially with twin pass, though id get it set up proper rather than just turning the boost back to the same level

there is usually a boost drop when fitting front mount coolers!
take it somewhere and get it set up properly then you will feel the full benefit of the new cooler!
dont go back to the half width cooler cos they really are rubbish and not much better than a standard one!!

yip , bigger is not always better

you may find that the losses through your new cooler are grater than the small one , have the motor set up again and crank the boost up

Steven didn't say to put the smaller cooler on and crank the boost up!! He said that the losses through the new cooler may be greater and to get it set up!!

By the way, have you checked for air-leaks? That'd be another reason for a boost drop.
