I would tighten the bracket anyway as this will affect the throttle cable and where its positioned.

Probably will fix it , if its only just happenend

After you have securley mounted the throttle cable bracket make sure there is a small ammount of slack in the accelerator cable.

right first thing first it was idling at 1400 not 1200 lol

i replaced and tightened it all the bolts....... no change

so i adjusted screw back so it idled an 1000, then when i turned it off and started it it was only idling at 700/800

so nipped it up a bit so it idled at 1100/1200 and it seems fine

i thought about the air leak but im sure when u have an air leak it makes it idle lower,

incidentally the blue and brown plugs were never connected on the back of the inlet so i connect the brown, dint seem to make any difference

it runs fine weather there connected or not

it was set up at grove about 3 months ago and they had to do some wiring because it would never idle or start from cold, and a excellent set up to

its been on the road for 3 weeks i changed the valve oil seals, (this is why the bracket was loose lol) do maybe its a settlement thing????

hopefully i susses it as i think the cable was i bit tight

any other info would be grate

also clean the auxiliary valve under the inlet where the 2 hard plastic pipes goes too

you could take this off and clean it internally and check to c if it still works

something like you out it in the freezer for about 10 mins and the hole inside should be closed

and when it warms up the hole will gradually open up almost fully
or the other way round ie open when cold and closed when hot

Do you mean the throttle stop screw? If you adjust the throttle stop screw then you are also going to need to adjust the throttle position switch. If its not been adjusted since the setup then i would leave it alone.

When you get the fast idle is there still free play in the throttle cable?

To be honest it could be a number of things that could cause your problem. As you say you dont really want to start adjusting things, you would be better off taking it to someone with the correct equipment to check it for you.
