Default wont start when its warm

right been having problems if i been out driving about and it warms up , when i go to park up say for ten mins and come back its becomes a right twat to start , i am wondering if it is to do with the fact the exhuast manifold gasket is blowing a bit ,
could it be losing the pressure a bit ? i have disconnected the cold start as i thought it was that. it does start eventually depends on how hot it was
any ideas?

its will be either the fuel pump relay, dizzy or metering head
try tapping the top of the metering head when it wont start.
dizzys have a habit of breaking down when they get warm

You say no spark?

It could bee the hall sensor in the distributor breaking down when warm.

At cranking you should have +12v and a pulsed earth to the coil.

can be 2 problems :

1.) car dont want crank when is hot, starter motor problem, get a haet shield or/and new starter motor

2.) engine crank and starter turning but engine wont start (when warm), this is because metering head or fuel pump I really dont know for sure, but this problem can be "solved" if someone crank engine while you take off airbox and push the flap little down.
