my engine on the s2 is about had it and i might go for a zvh but dont know yet does anyone hav any ideas what i should do and what is needed for different conversions i.e. which cars i can get engines and parts out of for it my mate dont his with a 1.8 bottom end from a mondeo but all conversions are welcome (a 2.1 conversion sounds good)

 

depends on the power your wanting to go for

 

Zetec 2.1 16v would be my choice.

 

1.6 properly built all the way . Better once you pull over and tell them it was a 1.6 that just blasted by them

 

I would either go for a 1.6 CVH or a Zetec.

I don't understand taking of a 16v head then paying someone to modify the block so that you can run a super expensive ported 8v head thats only as good as the head that came with the engine which was removed.... just dont get the ZVH thing its false economy in my eyes
