Just to clear up the MSD/Lucid/AJC/5th injector issue, The S1 was set up and was found to run lean above 18 psi so needed the 5th injector for the intended 21/22psi. That was fitted and set up again and was fueling spot on. Since the set up, the turbo had been changed, a breather system which was not connected to the induction system at all and it wasn't running the same boost (there amy have been more changes but I can't remember). Andy was going to get the car set back up again but sold it before he had chance.

You must be the only person to claim AVA are conservative on their wheel figures. I don't tend to compare figures done on different days, let alone different rollers. back in 2000, RW's old car, then belonging to Dave Edwards used to make 195 at wheels at 13.5 psi regularly at AVA. Was a fantastic car that, revved for britain. But, at an RS rr day at Nobles, it made low 170's at wheels, about 220 at fly.

as i recall that car had a fault that day and would have made more,sure rw will clear this one up
and as to say 170@wheels equates to 220 fly,thats some losses for a fwd car,so tims 300bhp car is doin 250@wheels or thereabouts,doesnt sound quite as impressive

250 @ wheels at Nobles - it would do more at AVA.
