Default Series 2 misfire

My series two has developed a misfire when under load and doing 2500rpm or more. it idles fine. has checked plugs and done a comp test while i was at it this was fine too any ideas on what else i should be checking?

check the rotor arm and dizzy cap for signs of pitting and arcing. if in doubt change them. don't forget as well that it could be a lead breaking down or even the plug electrodes breking down inside the plug.

Had this a couple of days ago and it was a worn fuel pump. Exchanged for another one and drove fine again.

Not saying this is your problem but could be......

Right i checked all ignition components and they were all fine so put a new fuel pump on and then found i wasn't getting any fuel out of the no. 2 injector so changed that as well. car has been spot on until today it has developed the same scattered misfire as before
Any ideas anyone

mine was doing it it after i had new plugs fitted
turned out they left 1 loose, all the gaps were
to big and 1 was cracked
new plugs by myself now alls fine
