Default Heat shields

Has anyone else had the paint on their bonnet crack because of the heat from the turbo/exhaust manifold?
I was thinking maybe i need a heat shield or perhaps the bonnet had just been sprayed badly? (someone has smoothed over the ford badge recess)

Thanks!

It shouldn't. As std, there is a black fibre heat shield, with some silver reflective foil just above the turbo - have u got this?

stuff it!!!!

use 20mm square tube and lift your bonnet , no more repainting and drops your underbonnet temps greatly
