Getting no fuel to the filter.Pump is buzzing...Possible causes please.

 

pump could be retarded.
fuel relé could be lame,
a loose contact,
a leak,
no fuel in the tank?

 

Is there fuel in the tank

 

pump could be fooked m8 is it really smelly round it or could be wired wrong way round i.e blowing not sucking fuel

 

All sorted now.Seem to be air lock in the system.fuel wasn,t coming out of pump.Disconnected the pipe from the pump and primed the pump 20 times until fuel pissed out every where.

P.S has been standing for 6 months.
