What Gearbox oil to use?
Hello all putting a new box in the escort on saturday and cant remember what gear oil to use

75w 90 fully synthetic as recomended by gearboxman is what i use
Gl4 80w (but 80/90 is fine) is what ford say, and thats what fiecos dan uses
no doubt he will post this but i thought id save him the hassle

Also Quaife recommend use of gl4 90 w in there ATB diff, and for normal lsd's with crown and pinion.
But for a gearbox on its own (like cossie, with no diff) 75/90 semi.
