Default Turbo Chatter
Is there anything i can do to make the chatter off my turbo louder? Because i took my dump valve off tonight and IMO it sounds alot better now, turbos at 16psi and got a K&N. Its still MFI, some one told me you cant get it very loud with MFI?cheers

How much would you say it would cost to convert to EFI? I assume most people do the work themselves, what other advantages are there apart from louder chatter lol

You can get adjustable chatter when you go EFI, a knob on the inlet manifold that lets you turn the sound up and down.

Not entirely true. It's the sound of the air coming back through the blades as the throttle closes. This can cause the turbo to stall, which can in turn break the shaft, but on a T3 this is highly unlikely.

My GT30 chatters lots and the GT series turbo's are known to be the most delicate.
