vernier question

hello people, i have finally after 4mths got my rebulit cvh back in place,
low comp pistons
re ground crank
fully lightened an ballenced bottom end
arp bolts
specialised engines stage3 big valve head
kent cvh35
i bought a vernier pully and it turns out its for a cosworth i was told it would work but now its running the belt seens to sit off centre of pulley is this dangerous like this or can i keep it in place ? ? ?

before the engine was fitted it was sitting central to pulley but when cranking to wait for oil pressure on turbo feed we notice it had moved to the head side of the pulley! its running but not yet driven as dont know if safe? i have since been told that the cozzy vernier is back2front, will try an get a picture up
