Few lads on ZSOC are doing it to there Mk5, needs a custom mount, and a Derv van gearbox as far as I'm aware....... I think a few of them have said they've done it for under a 1k (inc buying the engine etc etc)

I put together a turbo orion.
Had it dyno'd at 200bhp.

Had small wheels on it, no bonnet vents, fully standard all round.
Even had a slightly dented rear quarter for good measure.

Used to piss so many people off.

Had a rece with loads of cars, who couldn't believe it.
Beat a TVR one day too.

It sat far happier at high speeds than my S2 ever has, prbably due to the longer boot,

Best car I ever had, till some git wrote it off!!

Very easy conversion to do, especially if its a 16i ghia.

Hang on!! I'm confused!!

First you say you want suggestions as to what is the best RS to turn into a sleeper, then go on to suggest cars that are not part of the RS family!?

Then someone suggests fitting RS Cosworth running gear and you say you want it to be powered by RS running gear?!

I would have suggested a Mk 2 RS2k with Cossie running gear personnally. That is an RS running RS running gear.

You know it makes sense Given mine is far from a sleeper with the cossie kit but it still surprises alot of people. Fancy swapping back to a more standard look at some point to add to the effect
