at wat power boost does the off shelf intercoolers (grs airtech etc) be come restriction , any1 with any helpful input

i got one of them air tech one got told you need to have a different intercooler to achive 200bhp dont quote me on it tho

A 1600???

What boost pressure is that running?
no its 2.1 zetec turbo 460bhp@27psi but he runs it @20psi around 400bhp most of the time

im goin to run around 37psi so want to wat cooler is best as my last grs didnt like the nos

no, its still a problem cos would need to run the boost pipes under the sump , be a pain

i wouldn't bother with a rs500 design,

as the end tanks are not the best design,

Thats why jap's can get away with smaller cores and better ACT's.

Ive saw one fitted to an S2 the proper way up, it is a coont and covers the rad so u gotta have some meaty fans but it does work, v.v.v.well
