Default Bonnet problem!

Hello.
I have fitted a 2.1 zvh engine with cvh efi inlet manifold and cossie throtle-body in my rst s2.
My problem is that there is not enough space between the throtlebody-linkage and the bonnet!
Have been thinking of bonnet raisers but are there anything else i could do?
Any ideas?

If I turn it the idle-speed valve will cause the same problem
Have been thinkikng if it`s possible to skim of a little at the throttle-linkage but don`t think it will be enough.

It`s the arm which is connected to the throttlecable that does not clear the bonnet.

And there is plenty of room under the bonnet.

The only problem is that to get to the ISCV you have to take the throttle body off and you can't get a plug in the ISCV either, so it is a very tight fit.

What about lowering the engine mount.

I know mine on my current spec had the engine mount altered so that the lump would sit lower.

Bit of a pain in the arse but still another option.

Bonnet raisers would be the cheaper option though

Surely though your engine must sit lop sided then, it would be incredibly difficult to lower the gearbox mounts aswell in order to keep the engine horizontal

Tony, problem is, hes running a EFI manifold, theres not a lot of space when you use them, i think the fuel rail would probably foul the ISCV
