I know mine on my current spec had the engine mount altered so that the lump would sit lower.
Bit of a pain in the arse but still another option.
Bonnet raisers would be the cheaper option though
Surely though your engine must sit lop sided then, it would be incredibly difficult to lower the gearbox mounts aswell in order to keep the engine horizontal
