im using this cam with a standard ford pulley will i need to adjust the idle via the distrubutor as it is not idling properly even if i turn the idle adjustment screw on the manifold

thanks for the replies guys took the escort to power engineering today and the guy tunned it up, he turned the dizzy to the right (advance i think) quite some distance as i only gave it a cm or so to the right
but the cars pulling quite well now with 256 Ilbs of torque
