They come with comprehensive instructions and takes around 1-1.5 hours to fit.

They are a bit more fiddly to set-up and unforgiving in use, but the positive feel it gives is SUPERB.

I am about to re-new the shift selector rod an UJ too, I have the parts at work ready, so my shift will be MINT!!

Ł215 inc delivery for the B&M by the way.

Have to agree with the improvement in shift quality however, I have noticed a lot of vibration is transmitted from the engine into the body as it mounts directly to the body.

Anyone else experienced this?

No, the selector rod is a Ford part, the kit uses the standard Rods. I have just bought that new for under Ł30.

Do the rubber mounts not take away from the positive feel of the shifter??

I just bonded my lower centre console together from behind with Stikaflex and that has cured practically all the vibration.

I drove a RST with one fitted for about 80 miles recently. While it does shorten the throw etc,I found it needed a firm hand (ohh err missus ) to get it to change gear.Felt almost agricultural if I'm honest!!Is this the same for everyone, maybe I needed more miles under my belt to get more used to it??Regards,Micky

Firm hand . . .

vibration - Stuck some rubber matting between the shifter and the underside of the car.
