how hard is it to change the linkage and what does it cost for a new 1 as im still having prob getting car into gear sometimes esp reverse

 

Linkage might just need adjusting up properly. But it aint a hard job to change it's 4 10mm bolts inside the car and to bolts under the car (that connect to the box) a 13MM and a 19mm (i think) should take you no longer than an hour

 

I am trying to find a new one for my car aswell as mine is worn.
I have been told this is still availiable from Ford but my local one will not look to see if any branches have any in.

i just got a new one from ford got the whole rod with the u/j joint on the end just ready to fit its was only £23 that was kirkcaldy ford garage hope this helps
