Indeed, And you can have it controled just like a corrado rear spoiler, hit a certain speed and up it comes

Just need to sort this electrical actuator out
why dont u just use the corrado rear spoiler lifters mount them to the inner wing do away with the ford hinge.
then fit a door type hinge to the corrado lifters and the other side to the bonnet then u can lift and open i think will try and put a pic of what i mean up

i know crap drawing but if u look u do away with the ford hinge's mount a corrado piston to the inner wing with the hinge (as above)to the top of the piston. fix the bonnet to the top hinge so u can still open ur bonnet the normal way and when the piston moves up it will give the lifted look

and yes i know corrado is an o not an a

Going by that pic, if the hinged part is open ( the backwards L shape) then how is the bonnet attached to this part?

You could bolt it together when closed, but wouldn't open. If the bonnet just rode on this piece and slid up and down as the hinge opened, then how is the bonnet secured at the rear?

The piston is a good idea, but the attachment points needs work. Also you'd need to power the piston in some way. How is this done on the corrado?

thats what i was thinking will the bonnet open

and i dont think it will unless u have the corrado lifters up

and that would lift it up so u could open it

Dunno if any one is still doin this, just had an idea, no idea if it will work would probs have to put it out really high to open your bonnet but if any one can make it work what the hey basically instead of the hinge idea up above make a bracket to bolt to the original holes on the bonnet and use a rose joint on the end of the corrado lifter? which i would have fort would allow full movement but be solid too, does that make sense? only problem i can see is the opening of your bonnet,
