Am i right in thinking that when changing boost with an electronic boost controller, will it not mess with fueling when u change boost settings?

ive always thought having one of these but dont kno which is the best one to use on MFI. i like the controllers becoz they hold boost better.

 

Yes, all a boost controller will do is allow you to adjust the boost pressure, usually a percentage of actuator pressure. It will not alter the fuel settings what so ever.

 

theres no point of buying a apexi for my mfi is there?

 

I don't know much about Apexi stuff, are you talking about an AVC-R? I know that that can show things like injector duty which cannot be used with MFi.

The Apexi is a quite advanced boost controller, probably overkill for a standish RS Turbo. I'd recommend the Greddy Profec 2 Spec B, it is cheap and easy to work with. If all you want to do is adjust the boost while driving and have better boost stability then it is ideal.
