jus wonderin if any 1 can help me, i cant get my boot open 2 get my tools out, it wont open wen i push the lock in, it jus pushes in but wont open, i cant pull the back seats down because i need 2 pull the cable/nob thingy from the boot ( its a cabriolet) for the back seats 2 cum down, any ideas or tricks as i need help asap, cheers in advance

 

Enlist the services of a local burberry clad pikey. I'm sure they will have a suitable screwdriver or something.

Can't you take the seats out? I'm not familiar with the Cabrio seats, but surely you can take the seat base out (2 screws), then get to the hinge bolts. 5 mins work.

 

the bottom of the rear seats is just thight with 2 screws.
just get that out of the way, and then drag the wire and the rear seats goes down.

a fellow cabriolet owner told me 2 pull the carpet off the back shelf an pull off a plastic cover an put your hand threw the hole an tug the cable....an hey presto the seats came down, jus thought id tell ya jus incase anybody else wiv a rst cabriolet on here has the same problem

not sure wats wrong with my lock/boot tho, the key locks/unlocks the lock an pushes in but it wont open upwards??

 

it havent just freezed?
