Battery's probably just TOO flat, happens to me allot cos my alarm sooks every bit of juice out it, even when starting it off a heavy diesel battery you need to leave it for ages

I find that if you connect the jump leads, turn the ignition on the S1 with the jumper car running it will take about 10-15 mins for it to even turn over fast enough.

could try some larger jump leads to get it going, if battery is completely flat you'll need a fair few amperes to get it going.

connect positive to your battery and negative to something like engine lifting eye, wiggle them about to make sure it gets a good connection.

don't make that much difference to be honest. had to jump my s2 off my gf's diesel seat ibiza and to get it to start she had to hold the revs at almost 2k.

CSV pipe?
fuel feed to metering unit?
small pipe on metering uni?

Thats probably more caused by poor jump leads just for info If you have to leave the battery connected for a while you are charging your battery from the fresh one, the jump leads most likely can't handle the current your starter is trying to pull.

Hmmmm, Im not so sure tbh, they are heavy jump leads.....I find that if a battery is COMPLETELY flat, no matter what, you'll need to leave it charging from the fresh battery, not just on my car either.

If you keep letting the battery go flat it WILL go fooked.

Once it's completely flat (no voltage at all in it), you might as well bin it.
