not by an s2!

don't want to start a war, but seeing the 0-60 times in PF of 200bhp+ s1/2 rst i don't think you'll trouble me off the lights...

anyway, as some of you know, i'm looking for an s1, the vx has to go due to money worries. just a bit of research really. someone told me that on a ford brochure for the s2 it quoted 1300+ kilos, i knew that couldn't be right, even my mates SEAT LEON CUPRA R weighs a bit less than that!!!
even recent Scoobys don't weigh that much!

seen fiesta RST quoted at 930kg somewhere, so i guessed about the same.

i have just been whupped by a diesel! bmw 330td, new one. on a private rd, from about 50, i was pulling away (slightly) but from 110+ he started to get away from me! in my defence, i did have the top down! thats a fair amount of drag...

cheers for the help. everytime i've posted a question, someone here has helped me out.

some of the in-gear figures for that TD are better than the new M3!

and apparently the top off is worth about 10-12mph top end, so i think i did ok!

anyway, no hard feelings, i don't want to be hunted down by every RS owner in essex, i can't afford the petrol at the moment!!!!

that's the real
