I had a 'race tuned 'speedo on my FSIE, used to do 72 down Stag Hill in Cockfosters cos obviously speedo's were far more acurate in 1977....

my speedo cable snapped the other day so didnt no wot speed it was...

any ideas wot MPH i was doin... (real speed)?

 

I've hit the limiter in 5th and using 205/40/17 tyres with stock ratios and rev limit I seem to remember it working out at about 152mph

i got 195 45 16's

rev limit on mine was 6500rpm. So i guess I dont no what speed I was actually doin, but it was on the limiter.
