Default new radiator?

Any of u guys have and contacts or links to places i can buy a new standard radiator for my s2?
I havn't got the money for a fancy ally one and everywhere that i've tryed is sold out/out of stock of standard uns

You tried places like europarts etc? Should be a couple of places in the local yellow pages tha specialise in rads

i got mine from partco but ive seen a few advertised in fast ford mag that shop speed shack they were second hand ones around the £50 mark

keep um coming peeps , i've tryed a few places but apperantely the're not as easy to get hold of as they use to be.

thats the option the've all offered- recoring but mines a bit a of mess, rusty etc so i want a new un really.

They only reuse the end tanks, mine came back looking like brand-new last time!!

Cost me nearly a ton though.

oh right, maybe an option as my end tanks are fine- looking at being £100/£130 odd delivered for a new un but can't find any places where there in stock.

Recore i would of said aswell. Mine cost about £85

There was a million and one new ones on eBay a while back, have you looked there?

yeah, i phoned one of the places that use to trade on ebay as a mate bought one off um 6 months ago.
the're now having problems getting them in, they said the've bin trying to get in new uns for 6 months with no luck

Probably the end caps that are creating the shortage of new ones.

Re-cores should always be possible, the local place here doesn't keep any cores in stock as far as im aware but they got mine in pretty sharpish and built it up for me

Are you bothered what type ?

Copper core etc ? Or will any new one do ?

I'll try my local place. Put another new 1 on the escort the other month as I lent my spare brand new Ford one to Rick about 18 months ago

thanks alot for the help peeps
i've managed to get a local firm to recore mine, i think the end the tanks are ok i'll find out 2moro when he brings it back- £80 cash so not bad considering the fella has picked it up and is delivering it back 2moro
