on the rear wishbone to hub mount (long bolt bit) its got 2 bushes with i am guessing go on the outside but when i offer it up to the hub the metal of the hub is touching the metal of the wishbone , not bush to go between them ???
if that makes any sense to you

its a little bit small but where the diagram is showing the length is 2.5cm mine is 2.3cm and looking at mine when its fitted in the wishbone it is much more than 2mm from poking out the other end so i don't think that's it , surely it wouldn't be metal on metal but i cant see any other way it fits together

no , every other bush is fine , its the wishbone to hub bushes , the wishbone part is in a " U " shape and fits onto the hub with a long bolt going through 1st bush - through the hub - through 2nd bush . but where the wishbone and hub meets it is metal to metal
hope this helps , I'm not too good at explaining myself

Ahhh the diagram shows it clearly now

They have to be the metal/metal flush fit as there is no room for a second bush there. Just 1 in each outer end as shown.

I understand that - but fail to see what the problem is ?

Are the tubes too long or short or something ?

Its the only way using a standard upright.

Even my rose jointed ones are metal/metal

In my earlier type I did have a solid nylon bush in there, but even that was sleeved with metal, so the inner bit hes on about was still metal/metal with a solid nylon bush.

That long shiny bolt is the bolt he refers to - I just got rid of the crap wishbone design

Found my old wishbone pic to compare to your drawing

I had solid nylon ones in that at both ends too. All this coloured rubber stuff is no use for motorsport
