2.0 zvh compression info.
hi there everyone just looking for some info/opinions on running a 2.0 zvh without skimming 0.020" (0.5mm) off the pistons crowns.
i've been informed that this will cause the engine to run @ around 8.6:1 comp. ratio.
now i know that this is a little hi but i've made a few 1.8 zvh's without skimming the piston crowns and they run around 8.5:1 and are safe up to around 20psi and these work very well.
So am i pushing my luck trying to go as far as 8.6:1 just i am trying to keep the crown thickness of the pistons as thick as possible so i can run up to 14psi safely
any opinions greatly appriciated
