Depends mate, if you have it set up and tuned to run super unleaded then that is all you should run in it or you risk blowing up!

I dont actually know how good that tesco stuff is but seeing as the fuel pump was whining cos it was so low and i was very bored i stuck a fivers worth in for a laugh lol, seemed a lil bit better

Well if your guna have it on the RR then obviously they will be able to set it up safe to run on unleaded, super has more potential though

rs turbos are ment to run on 98 octane fuel if you set it up to run on 95 octane it will have the same power as a xr3i

best petrol to use is shell v power

Is that show season 2010 or just anytime safechav

Millsy first of all well done for supporting gods own football team

Secondly by that im assuming your up this neck of the woods somewhere (i dont know where or what kelloholm is ) if you are up here then AVA will ask you to fill it with super unleaded, they reckon theres not much odds between the bp/shell stuff.

If your havin it set up to run on super, you shouldnt really put anything less in. If you do you risk your engine!!!

If you don't know what its set up for super will be the all round winner, even if its set up for 95 Ron

standard and chipped ecus are mapped to run on super (well 4 star 98 ron)

someone would have to go out of there way and retard the ignition advance abit and lose power to have it setup on 95 ron

I put the tesco stuff in my run about 1.6i Orion for the crack , seemed a bit more pokey but obviously its not the worlds most hardcore engine

Had my Series 2 set up to run unleaded as it would cost us a fortune to run super unleaded

The way I see it.

Put enough Tescos 99ron in and over the year (with your clubcard points ) it could pay for breakdown recovery

I either use Texaco "High Octane" super unleaded (mainly because the garage is 30 seconds up the road) or Tesco 99 ron as stated above! I have been known to use the Sainsbury's Super unleaded because it's 88.9p at my nearest Sainsbury's, but it's like 10 miles away

2 of my mates run theirs on normal unleaded tho, but then they always seem to have problems
