Default Staring problem

Just lately I have been having problems with the car starting. I have to press the paddle down to prime the system before she starts. Once running the car runs superb no dodgy tickover or anything. The mixtures have been checked and boosts up no problems.

I have noticed that the paddle doesn't seem to flap up and down when trying to start the car. I have checked and it doesn't seem to be getting stuck and is nice and smooth. What could be wrong?

Cheers
Dave

Air leak somewhere.

The system needs vacume from the engine to suck the flap down when cranking.

Sorted it out. The one way valve on the inlet manifold was faulty.
