Simon.
The last two years the course has been pretty much the same, figure of 8, mostly mid 3rd gear, not particually long bends (apart from 1) and the straights are very short, obviously not too sure what they'll do this year but would think it'll be similar again. Fwiw the winner of the fwd this year was a Rover running iro 280bhp (just to show you don't need monster power).

I wouldn't worry about what Joe public thinks either. Surely the point of ANY event is competing and you're not competing against the cars running 9 / 10s 1/4's. Be good to see some RST's next year and there are certainally some very potent cars that seem to have turned up, its just not the same without you guys!

Nicely put JohnW, and thanks for the course info.

I am still proceeding with my build for the next TOTB.

Simon.

Seriously, it's full of tuner-sponsored mega high budget cars and people who are only interested in looking at the cars they see in Banzai etc. I love every event I do, but this is not one for me.

Even the Cossie boys aren't really with the pace I'm afraid to say.
i think you are right but would be nice to see some fast rs's

teah good on you m8 if you don't try you'll never know being at crail is a big enough buzz for me so i imagine that totb would be alot better...at the end of the day the guy's that enter their rst's are seriously quick motors and they still have a huge following or you wouldn't have great sites like these!
