Just out of general interest, how much does it cost to get an engine to 300+ brake? I appreciate it will cost less if you have strong, lowish mileage lump to start with, but how much on top of say getting it to 200 bhp does it cost to get it to 300? (I'm talking about keeping it cvh whether 16/1900, rather than zetec/zvh conversions.)

I've got to admit I've never been on a track before so I'd have to adapt a bit. Do they have track days where cars and bikes can go on together?

the RED S2 jano built with 16 v CGI (zetec turbo's car) is now in Aarons Black Series 1 and his CVH in zetec turbos,
this engine while in the Red s2 made 287bhp with 320ish ftlb at 16psi on standard cams and a stage 3 T3... IIRC
Now in Aarons car has Kent Rally spec cams, vernier pulleys and Runs a maram shafted T4. His runnin around 18psi at the minute and is due a Remap where he will fit Grey injectors and mayb run more boost...
Problem is with the 2ltr 16v is Torque is incredible and with Air injectors cums on boost hard so even at the minute his car spins up in 3rd in the bone dry with out ALS on, so this will influence his boost he gonna run.

running koni's, stripped out, propper engine build.
0-60 5.5 consistant
13's over the quarter all day long @ 110mph.
and quicker top speed than i der to push it, but well over the scary side of 150mph.
you will always know the higher power cars buy their terminal speed over the quarter mile.
mines around 260-280 at 16 psi, 2.1 ze-vh.
running koni's, stripped out, propper engine build.
