Default rolling road

is it possible to have my car put on the rollers if it has some fuel probs without running the risk of damaging my engine as my car is running lean and misfiring,it also has a chapping noise at the top end which ive put down to a worn cam. the car has not been set up since oct 2004 which was at power engineering. i cant take the car back to them as am back in scotland.

the engine has had 12k spent on it and i dont want to damage it, the reason ive not tuned it yet is that i never use it unless its a nice day.

cheers lewis

put my mind at ease

Give Colin at AVA a bell 0141 848 5257.

Based right at the back of Glagow airport they arent a million miles away from you...they will not allow the car to run lean on the rollers and will terminate a run if its detremental to your cars health.

They are more than capable of finding/fixing the caue of your fueling issues.

As mentioned above, the rolling road operator won't run the car if its running excessively lean etc.

I'd be slightly concerned about the noise at top end, if it's running lean you sure its not det'ing? If so avoid running it hard else it'll destroy a piston.

im still not sure what the rattle at top end but seems to go away when the engine is revved higher.
