fifth gear!
no not the bleedin program, mine, its dissapeared ,
when driving to receive my mot failure today,i tried to find fifth gear and,it went into the gate, but just revved like it was in neutral?
the previous owner assures me the clutch and gearbox were new before its layup,so weres mine gone,?(as ive not had it up to them speeds until now for legal reasons)
it still has an lsd,and as i say goes into the gate, just well nothing, no grinding, shakes or crunching, and no gear selected?
did notice it a bit hard to select third on the way home tho!

Have heard of people having the same problem
I'm sure i've heard something about people trying to drain the oil out of the boxes and getting the wrong plug/bolt. Doing this causes the fifth gear to some how end up in the bottom of the box. No grinding or noise, just the loss of the gear.
I could be totally wrong though!
It has been known once or twice.
