The relay is up under the dash on the drivers side.
Before you start pulling things apart i strongly recommend you check for a spark also as it might not be the relay

yup s2, ive checked spark to everything else but not the pump so far as its underneath as you know, only put my proalloy oil catch tank on this morning so highly pissed off, been chcking if its priming, more often than it is, it isn't priming up and still won't start and as i say the hose going into the fuel filter mounted on the inner wing isn't getting anything when turning the engine over?

The reason i said to check for a spark is because the fuel pump relay is tachometric and relies on the LT ignition signals to operate, its very common for the distributors to break down and therefore you lose spark and fuel
The relay is a pinky purple colour. I have some second hand ones if you should want one? Or they are about £25 new from Ford

If you have a spark then i would almost definately says its the relay.
Before you spend your money, get a bridge wire and connect it first to the Black/Red, then the other end to the Red, the pump will run, and see if you can get it running
NOTE: the pump WILL run continuously, DO NOT use the Black wire in place of the Red
