Default Car Cut out whilst driving

Took the car down the road and it cut out on me and wouldn't start again for a minute or so.

When it first happened the rev counter dropped like a stone but the engine kept running then it happened again and it cut out completely.

I tried to restart it and it turned over but would not fire up.

Is there a problem with my distributor?

The car has been off the road for about 3 months and in that time i have replaced the dizzy oil seal but thats it.

hi fella, I had the exact same prob with mine a couple of weeks ago, 99% it will be your distributor! Get a new one and you'll be sorted!
