Default backfire

My rst was not boosting very well and I discovered that it was coz the amal vale was bypassed so I have just put it back to the way it should be and what a difference the car is far quicker but the prob I have now is that sometimes its backfireing when I put the boot down
Does anyone know what would be making the car to do this and what I can do to stop it

Cheers

Because re-connecting the amal valve will give you more boost.
