Without a chip and setup, you would look to be running 7-8 psi to be safe

The idea of it is so you can turn the boost down to save fuel etc and make the car a bit more driveable.

Keep it low until you have a set up, in car adjusters have a very dangerous potential

SafeChav, if you turn the boost down it's still gonna use the same amount of fuel that it's set up for, so it'll then be overfueling ?

get the in-car adjustable cack to fook, set it to 7psi and then get a tuner to set it up properly and leave it alone, it'll only end in tears otherwise!

Agree with both, just get it to a tuner as soon as you can. Setting it to 7psi should be fine just hope the previous owner didn't have it fuelled for alot more.

Whatever you do don't go messing with it, most tempting thing in the world when you've got in car boost control just to whack it up when a porsche flies by

i think you'd struggle to blow it up as you'll hit a boost cut.. unless it is chipped.. then who knows!

Boost cut is never good for the turbo or head gasket though

You dont want a -34, you'd want a -31.. your tuner should set it up to about 1.0-1.2 bar boost.. for about 185bhp
