Default Basic setup for an S1 RST?

Hi there,

Just got my Escort running (abeit badly!) there!

I've just guessed at where the actuator rod should be set.....
Anyone know roughly in what position it should be set?
I think I've got it set all wrong!

If it makes any difference spec is:
Standard T3
Forge Motorsport actuator
Turbosystems chip for 14-15psi

no lol.

The rod has hole which goes over the wastegate.

Half a hole preload means adjust it to the lenth where without putting any pressiure on the actuator - u need to stretch the rod half the diamater of the hole to get it on. This is the longest it can ever be. Then shorten if needed.

Right..... cool, think I'm getting you now!

So how much shortening will it need usually?

At the moment it's set as short as it possibly can be!
I'm guessing this is very bad and I'll have about 40psi for a minute before it pops?!
