Default Fitting intercooler after market

Ok so I know to do it properly I need a kit from pace but its £70 without vat...... Please please there must be a diy way of fitting a pace intercooler without the extra expense of the proper kit? First of all I know ive gotta take the bumper off but where do I start? I also know the fan has to be moved over, but how? And if I can do this then im sure I can attach the pace intercooler somewhere without it rattlin out.... Somebody must have instructions or help im sure youve done loads without the brackets from pace... Thanks in advance.......

the intercooler doesnt actually bolt or mount to anything,it just sits in place. it's the radiator and fan that the brackets are for. once you've got the bumper and old i/c off you can see it all better and maybe work something out yourself!! see if there is a picture of the brackets on the pace website and try to copy them.

Make your own instead of spending so much money on brackets.

Such a shame that companys have so much overheads that they pass it on to the customer, i mean £70 come on surely it dont need to be so high cost??

Pace cololers are shit enough without them charging you £70 for brackets to hold it on

The brackets are worth nearly as much as a second hand Pace cooler

Graham goes out of his way to help people which is another one of the reasons that GRS is the best type of cooler for the E/FRST.

I have personaly tried many types of coolers and always working on engines with different intercooler systems. The cores used by GRS are very good quality when compared to the more expensive comparision on the market.

Still @£70
