when i lock the car with either the remote or the key the cental locking motors keep running on, it is running on all the 3 doors, i have had to take out the fuse, it has never done this before, i cant find any relays witch operate it, any ideas

90 specs s2, and i have manages to order some of those terminals for the bosch pump

 

Try greasing the locks and rods m8.

 

Ahhhhhh i forgot about them u never got back to me.

Theres is no relay for C/l on a s2, the motors contain switches, probably got a motor fucked...........

 

whats the best thing to test, isolate each motor ???

 

well the ones in the doors both have switches, you can unlock the car from either side as u may have noitced.

Its common for all the connections to corrode etc, going to be trial and error. The wires in the door looms tend to break down aswell over the years

 

My old orion used to do this, the motors where sticking, a good squirt of WD40 and a dap of grease on the rods and it was as good as new.

Although one time i did have to adjust the screws that hold the mechanism to the door slightly as they were too tight and caused the same thing. That was when i changed the doors, was only enough to put a washer behind one screw
