s2 engine and gearbox in to s1

Default s2 engine and gearbox in to s1

hello people arfter some help arfter reading loads of threads about the diffreces between s2 and s1 . Will my s2 engine and box fit in to my s1 some people say yes and some say no due to the craddel in the s1 .
Please help cheers

the engine will fit but u need to fit a mk3 box , mk 4 wont fit

As above. The S2 box doesn't have the pick ups for the S1's fancy tie bar set up.

or just bolt the end part of the mk3 casing to a mk4 box like ive done

I just happened to notice the other day MK5's with BC boxes have the front mount that Mk3's had.......just thought it chip that in whether u wanted to know it or not
