Clonking noise as i pull away
Hello chaps.
Got a little problem that when i pull away i get this loud clonking noise (forward or reverse)
I've replaced the outer CV joints (for brand new ones).
The inner joints are the tripod type (but are old).
Could the problem be the inner joints? and can i put a standard joint on to the shaft?
Or is it likely to be an engine mount or something?
Any advise would be great to give me a bit of a fighting chance when i start to look for the problem at the weekend.

Thanks guys.
mounts are all new, but i will defo check these.
TCA are brand new.
Fully polybushed
New wheel bearings
Drive shafts are still a possiblity as the inner joints are not new.
all suspension is new inc poly strut top bushes.
Exhaust, quite possible as it sits very close to the gear linkage.
I put a post in General this morning coz i was having agro with the clutch last night.
Its also possible that the clutch could be causing this clonking. See here --- https://passionford.com/forum/viewto...757863#2757863
