Fuel pump cradle
Hi,
Stripped the underside of my escort yesterday, resto going on but when I took the cradle off it disintergrated. Slight rust issue Any ideas where I'll get one? Is it a main dealer only part?
Cheers
Dan

Yup that is what I did
I did however need to get a new chassis mount, spare wheel well plug and three rubber mounts as mine were a little battered by the time I had finished with them
You MAY still be able to get these parts from Ford. I know the lot WAS obtainable and was Ł150 - Ł200 odd. I don't think you will be able to get everything now though.

hmm,
The lot went into the skip!! I had to cut the rubber grommets before grinding the bolt that holds it in place. Stupid place to get to a rusty nut.
Looks like its a stainless jobbie or a scrapyard hunt. Don't suppose the stainless one will come with the rubbers too.
Cheers for the info

cant gt the rubbers any more, ive checked, you can get the frame, the vibration studs and nylock nuts, dont know about the inner clamp tho,
well dear, i managed to make mine from two nasty ones
cos the cars cost me in parts wot i paid initially in whole
terrible, hence wanting to save as much as poss, pluss that damm servo was a ford only part and at 120 was not cheap.
