Ask me a question!
iTrader: (1)
Rick and Chavboy stop being a prick!
The difference between a laser cut and then lathed item is that each pickup will be exactly the same in height to microns, meaning that the sensor will get an accurate reading..
Compared to an 1800cvh 36-1 alloy wheel which has been used for 20 years and has touched the sensor meaning that each one is different in height + it needs 31 of the teeth removing and finishing off etc... which takes a while!
I know what i would rather have!
I WILL NOT RISK MY ENGINE FOR THE SAKE OF Ł20 ITEM!!!
If you want summin to take the piss out of go look in the mirror

Reading that makes me wonder whether akito-man has hacked your account or not LOL
Ummmmm, Moda, Fez, Blush, Sub Tone, Chemistry?? How long ago are we talking?
That pulley mate, up to you what you want to do, ive got a pulley etc sat here if u want it, the sensor hasn't touched the targets, good condition. Im actually going to drill my block ive decided, im pulling the engine back out anyway and im not keen on having a trigger wheel on that side of the engine, plus them 1800 pulleys are quite weighty. If you want it though give me a shout.
One other thing if i may? I saw u saying about the RS Cam pulley being different, do you know how to identify the correct one? I put the cleanest one on LOL now ive started placing some against others and i can see the teeth don't line up, obviously where they are different pulleys. Theyve all got 2 letters stamped in the end, which vary, can this tell them apart?

Cam pulley is stamped KA for an RST. However, i'd use a vernier, even on a std cam. I found the cams are always slightly out, and for a peformance engine, every little helps. First work out the phasing, then from that u can work out the full lift figure.
