Default Main bulk head gromit split - fixes?

Right the main bulkhead gromit has split where the dash section of the loom passes through. Obviously I could by new one but this would mean stripping the entire loom that passes through it! Any easy fixes for this problem?

Cheers,
dan

I think there is too much strain on it due to the number of wires coming through. I was thinking maybe slitting some vacume pipe to cover the metal edge?!?!
