Sticky wipers

If you turn the wipers on my S1 off whilst they're half way through their wipe cycle they stop where ever I turn them off and I have to flick the lever down when they return to the bottom. Plus, if i try to use the intermittant option they go about 8 inch up the screen and stop, I then have to turn the wipers on and do as above to get them to stop back at the bottom again. HELP!!!

i had this problem with mine! now mine only stop where i turn them off at and i don't have an intermitten. i think the park switch is fooked in the wipper motor mate and yours sounds like its on it's way out.

it could be the motor connections, i changed my intermitant dial and the swtich and still couldnt cure it.ive just stripped the car for a respray and found that when i took the wiper motor cobver of a couple of the plugs were loose as was the earth screw. worth a look mate.
