ignition modulator

can u buy the lil black modual, the thing on the side of the dizzy?

There is no ignition module on an RST. The thing in the distributor is a hall effect sensor. I don't know if you can buy them any more but you used to be able to....

what does this hall sensor do?? My new RST has had a repair job and the black sensor is hanging off. My car won't start now and Im hoping this is the problem so I have a new distributor on the way.
